Reid Edlund

Reid was born and raised in El Dorado Hills, California. After playing his freshman year of high school on the JV golf team, he decided to begin taking golf more seriously and looked into taking lessons at a nearby golf course. What he found was a new program starting at Empire Ranch Golf Course called Will Robins Golf that prided itself in creating not only better golfers, but better people as well. After starting lessons with Will, he quickly improved and was able to make the varsity golf team and Oak Ridge High School where he continued playing for his final three years, acting as team captain his senior year. During his time in high school, Reid played tournaments with The First Tee and AGJA in the Greater Sacramento Area.  After high school, Reid went to college at Oregon State University, where he studied biology, continuing to play golf when the sun was shining and he had free time from work and school. After living abroad for two years, teaching English in Spain, he has returned to the area working as a Bilingual Aide as Mitchell Middle School in Rancho Cordova and a golf instructor for Will Robins Golf, the same organization that instilled his love for the game 10 years ago. Reid is hoping to earn his teaching credentials soon and begin his career as a public school teacher.
